You know, there’s really nothing like the thrill of owning a yacht. Aside from the petty tags of status and prestige that come with owning one are the simpler rewards of just being able to get away from it all. If you live on the water or you happen to know a good sailing place then finding your own personal escape is as easy as grabbing your keys, some water, activating the ADT Security, locking the doors and heading off to fun in the sun. And once you hit that water, you know that you’re free and the only boss you need to answer to is Mother Nature as you isolate both yourself and your mind from all the daily distractions.

There are also physical benefits to be sure and it takes a special kind of skill and endurance to manage a yacht either when you’re racing or just trying to hold your own against the elements, but it all pays off in the end and it can even be quite a workout. Yep, there really is nothing quite like the thrill of owning a yacht and those who do own one know what it means to take off, cut loose and be slaves to nothing but the tides.

Owning and using a yacht is one of the greatest and most luxurious experiences that many people will encounter when out on the water. If you have recently bought a yacht and would like to do some renovations to make it feel more like home when traveling, you may be wondering where you can buy furniture for the inside of the boat. Consider first checking with the company that you bought the yacht from as they may be able to customize the boat that you bought for you.The full explanation can be found at http://athingforcars.com/autos/boat-and-yacht-transport/

If you would like to do the work on your own, consider looking for a yacht company in your area who may be able to give you more information on the topic. You may also try shopping online for specific items that you are looking for. Once you have found the furniture, you may need another company to help install the furniture. You can usually get a consultation before paying the price that it would take to install the furniture. Remember, if you have just bought a yacht and would like to do some re-decorating, there are many resources that can help you reach all of your goals. Check online or at a local yacht company for more information.

Most of us are not fortunate enough to own our very own yacht, but those who are, undoubtedly, are able to afford it. The purchase price of the yacht is just the beginning as boats of all sizes need continual care. There are no strict guidelines as to when a boat becomes a yacht, but finely appointed craft over 30 feet can be considered yachts. Yachts come in all shapes and sizes, mono-hulls and catamarans, power and sail and can reach lengths of over 200 feet complete with helicopters and personal submarines.

A man-s yacht is his castle and most offer luxurious accommodations, have heating and cooling, make their own water and electricity and are appointed with exotic woods, marble counters and tubs, polished brass fittings and enough electrical gadgets to make James Bond proud. Every system on a yacht needs maintenance and on large and complex vessels the process is perpetual.

Depending on the size, yachts can be single handed, operated by families and the mega-yachts will have a captain and crew, a full time mechanic and a chef. Keeping and operating a yacht is a very large undertaking. It-s a tough job, but somebody has to do it.

Everyone knows that a ” Yacht” is a large ship that is used mainly for private cruising, but could be used for racing. And that they are generally associated with people of wealth. There is a history behind everything; and for those who are interested in boats or yachts in particular, may be interested in knowing a little something about the big massive boats that grasp an “aw” from all who encounter one.

The crafting of these ships started in the early 3,000 BC, by Egyptian pharaohs. They were fitted together without the use of any nails and measured up to 130 feet. These creations were then buried next to the deceased Egyptian pharaohs; with the belief that these vessels would carry them through the heavens. Each of these ships were carefully crafted to match the vessels that they used to travel the Nile. Wood was in short supply; as it was imported from Lebanon, so these vessels were most often created for royalty.

In the late 1500′s those mini barges took on a more human scale. For centuries there after the Netherlands depended on the water as a primary means of transportation for both goods and people. Trading with the Indies was quite successful and made many wealthy. Those that did well, expressed their great success on the sea, with larger and more extravagant ships.

If you’re into yachting you’ve probably spent a lot of time watching the big races on Direct TV and putting wagers on the winners. They’re spread throughout the year so you’ve got to get ready for the big events coming up in yachtingthey’ll be here before you know it!
The America’s Cup: Yachting’s biggest race is set to take place in just a couple of weeks and it’s bound to be a race to the finish like always. Contestants weather storms and bad equipment and it’s a harrowing journey no matter how big the boat.
Sydney to Hobart: Known as much for its scenery as the race itself, Sydney to Hobart is one of the shortest races in yachting. It’s a great spectacle, though, and if you’ve ever wanted a reason to go to Australia this should be it.
Island Yacht Race: Europe’s biggest yachting competition is one for the ages and it’s been going on as long as anyone can remember. There are no clear favorites in the field this year so it should be quite an exciting competition.

By repairing your yacht regularly you insure that it can be used each and every time you decide to take it out on the water. Minimizing repairs can be as simple as a detailed inspection before each use and putting high quality gas and oil in the tanks and filters so that wear and tear on its engines parts does not occur. A lot of times if you keep up on repair their will be very little work to do on it. However, if you do not keep up on the repairs and upkeep of your vessel, the expenses of fixing it can be much greater to make sure that it’s ready and water safe.

Never take your boat out onto open water after an accident or after a really long and cold winter without repairs because cracks could have been made and it’s very dangerous to have issues once you are out on the open water. To repair your boat, it is recommended that you go to your local marina because they hire experts on boat repair and have the power to order parts and fix your yacht if need be. Otherwise online repair shops are available for you to order any parts you may need for your mechanic to fix it.

There are a variety of newspapers and magazines you can read to locate yachts for sale as well as a yacht broker. The best place to find either would be close to a marina or popular boating area. Marina’s are the best place to look as there is a high demand for boats, boating, and yacht owners looking to buy or sell. Depending on the market you can sometimes get Yachts for below what they are worth and if the seller is flexible below listing price.

There is also a possibility that if the owner has passed and no one in their family is willing to settle the debt with the marina then the marina manager will sell the Yacht for a price to cover the costs of selling and harboring the Yacht for the period of time it was unclaimed.

Special newspapers for Yachts are available, they are like the ones available for auto sales only they center specifically on Yacht sales. They will either have an owners contact information or that of a broker who you may purchase the Yacht through.

Brokers will act as a realtor for the owner of the Yacht as well as assist you in the purchase.

A yacht is a luxury recreational boat, originally designed as a light fast sailing boat. Unlike a a boat, a yacht is built specially for an experienced and knowledgeable owner. It is made with the finest and superb qualities in every of it’s department; from the engine to the smallest part of the interior, giving serenity, privacy and of course leisure to it’s occupants. Generally, the length of a yacht ranges from 8 meters to 12 meters and from 26 ft to 39 ft. When going on a voyage, chartering or renting a yacht to cruise with is an exclusive way to explore and enjoy your vacation.This/tag helps explain it more. There are several countries like America, Britain, Caribbean etc, that offer yacht rental and chartering services and they are quite affordable with a palatable cuisine and all you can think of.

While a yacht can give you comfort and privacy, it’s important for a yacht owner to always maintain it. After every voyage, give the yacht a fresh water bath, wash the exterior, clean the deck, the windows with vinegar and water. No matter how much you care for your yacht and pamper it, you’ll still have to take it for repairs from time to time.

In order to assure the safety of the boater and others in the water, states require a minimum level of caution and education in order to be allowed to operate boats and yachts on their lakes and rivers. The first and foremost that most of the continental United States require is a boating safety course. If under thirteen, the child will not be aallowed or legal to operate a boat or yacht. Thirteen year olds and older must have a certificate of completion of a boating safety course.

Many states also have a noise requirement for the boats. The typical is below 90dba at a one meter distance from the muffler. If the boat is louder than this the yacht or boat can be ticketed. There are also regulations that prohibit the vessel operator from consuming alcoholic beverages while at the helm of the boat or yacht. The penalties often resemble those for drunk drivers.

One must also not break the wake or veer in front of another vessel that is within 100 yards of the boat or yacht. Life jackets must be worn by all passengers who are 12 or younger at all times. Finally, all boaters and yachters must yield to police watercraft and obey all the laws and regulations as set forth by the boating authorities of the state.
